The 40 DCOE 106A1 with vacuum advance port, is typically fitted to later 1750 - 105/115 series models. These include:

1970–1972 Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce (GTV) – Earlier models (1968-1969) usually didn’t have a vacuum advance, the later ones did incorporate it.

1970–1972 Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina – As with the GTV, later models around 1970 and beyond could feature vacuum advance.

1970–1972 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce – Similarly, later versions of the Spider could also have vacuum advance.
