Eibach spring set to fit all GT/GTV coupes. Sits approximately 40mm lower than standard springs and gives a slightly stiffer drive.
These are progressive springs. This design allows the spring to operate in two stages: the majority of the coils would provide a certain rate for general driving, and then as the suspension is compressed further (such as during aggressive driving or under heavy load), the closer spaced coils at the top and bottom would engage, effectively increasing the spring rate and stiffening the suspension progressively.
This configuration offers a softer initial response for minor road imperfections, providing comfort during normal driving, while still offering the additional support needed during more demanding conditions. It's a compromise that gives a good balance between comfort and performance.
We use these springs on all of the applicable cars restored here at VeloceSport as they give the car a slightly lowered sportier stance.
