ATE Front Brake Caliper Complete Rebuild Kit
Product Description
Rebuild kit for x1 front ATE brake caliper, with 48mm piston diameter. This kit is fitted to both the smaller 1300/1600 and larger 1750/2000 ATE calipers from around 1967 onward.
Please note that the new style pistons are cup shaped and do not feature the original style central pillar like the originals. You therefore need to remove the central locating "pin" in your caliper body, designed for the old pistons. The new cup shaped pistons don’t need that pin for proper function, and once installed, it will work just as effectively as the original design.
