1300-2000 Engine Oil Pump
Product Description
Engine oil pump to fit 1300-2000 from 1966 onward. This oil pump is the later uprated style with a 36mm gear length.
Installation guide
Screw in the attaching screws by hand but do not fully tighten.
Put a screwdriver down the distributor shaft and move the oil pump gear back and forth to position the oil pump correctly.
Then move the oil pump around until the drive gears are meshed and rotate freely.
Once the oil pump is in the optimal position gradually tighten the attaching screws in place.
The oil pump will fail often after a few hours of driving if the shaft is slightly bent, under pressure, or does not move freely.
